FM3/FM9/AXE-FX III Patch based on Fryette Deliverance 60 (D60)

The Fryette Deliverance 60 (D60) is a notable single-channel, 60-watt tube amplifier head, celebrated for its dynamic response and tonal versatility. Originally introduced in the mid-2000s under the VHT brand, it has since been reissued as the Deliverance 60 Series II and II+ models, incorporating modern enhancements while preserving its core tonal characteristics.

Originally, the company behind the Deliverance 60 was called VHT Amplification, founded by Steven Fryette in the late 1980s. Under the VHT name, Fryette designed and built a series of boutique, high-quality amps like the Pitbull, Deliverance, and CLX that became highly respected in the guitar community.

In 2008, Steven Fryette sold the rights to the “VHT” name to an overseas company (which now produces more budget-oriented amps under the VHT brand). As a result, he could no longer use the VHT name on his amplifiers. To continue making his original high-end designs, he rebranded the company as Fryette Amplification

From then on, all amplifiers (including reissues of previous VHT models like the Deliverance, Pitbull, etc.) were released under the Fryette name — but with the same design philosophy, build quality, and innovation that Steven Fryette is known for.

The wattage of the D60 is equivalent to 60 watts RMS and fed by 2x power tubes KT88 (or 6550, depending on the model). The preamp tubes are typically 3x 12AX7 and 1x 12AT7.

We might describe the D60 as a great machine giving a dry and clear tone, with an uncompressed and immediate response. It can be used for both
classic rock crunch and modern high-gain tones without the need for additional pedals.

In line with this, we designed this patch with the following:

SCENE 1: LESS
SCENE 2: MORE
SCENE 3: LEAD

Effects : wha, phaser, flanger, drive, volume, delay, reverb
