FM3/FM9/AXE-FX III patch based on the Triaxis, the tube preamp from Mesa/Boogie

The Mesa/Boogie TriAxis is a groundbreaking programmable tube preamp that has become a staple in professional guitar rigs since its debut in the early 1990s. It combines the warmth and responsiveness of all-tube analog circuitry with the flexibility of digital control, offering a vast array of iconic Mesa tones in a compact 1U rackmount unit.

Its versatility makes it suitable for a wide range of genres, from pristine cleans to high-gain leads. Notably, artists like John Petrucci and James Hetfield have utilized the TriAxis in their touring rigs, leveraging its programmable nature to access a multitude of tones on stage. Speaking of which, it is notorious for his ability to authentically replicate the tones of Mesa's legendary Mark series amplifiers, including the Mark I, IIC+, and IV.

The Mesa/Boogie TriAxis programmable tube preamp is no longer in production. While Mesa/Boogie has not publicly announced the exact discontinuation date, reports suggest that production ceased around 2016. A forum post from January 2017 indicates that the company was experiencing difficulties sourcing parts for the TriAxis, which may have contributed to its discontinuation. It is a great toy and while waiting for them to hopefully reconsider production again, at Gymtar we did our best to keep it alive for you and your guitar.

In this patch you will find 5 scenes inspired by the most popular tones:

SCENE 1: Clean (Rhythm Yellow channel. Hyper Clean Mark IV tone)
SCENE 2: Lead Green MK IV (Lead 2 Green Channel. Medium Gain tone)
SCENE 3: Lead Red (Lead 2 Red channel. Lead tone)
SCENE 4: Lead Yellow MKIIC+ (Lead 2 Yellow channel. Classic MKIIC+ Lead tone)
SCENE 5: Detune (A little bonus scene with "virtual capo" to play heavy riff in C tuning without detuning your guitar)

Effect: Chorus, Phaser, Flanger, Pitch, Delay, Reverb.
